Auf dieser Seite möchte ich dir von Geschenken berichten, die ich von zahlreichen Freunden über die Jahre als Abschiedsgeschenke bekommen habe. Über jedes Einzelne habe ich mich sehr gefreut, da hinter jedem Geschenk Ideen stecken, die mir das Reisen erleichtern, bei denen ich Erinnerungen festhalten kann und die mich an zuhause und meine Freunde erinnern. Sieh es als eine Übersichtsliste der „Geschenke für Weltenbummler“.
Ich habe dir viele der Geschenke verlinkt, damit du diese schneller findet, falls du in letzter Sekunde ein Geschenk benötigst.
1. GESCHENKE, DIE ICH VON FREUNDEN BEKOMMEN HABE
Buchtipp I
- 1000 Places to see before you die¹– Dieses Buch ist ein Must-Have für alle Traveler und beschreibt die schönsten Reiseziele und Urlaubsideen der Welt. Das Buch ist auch als Bildband erhältlich.
Interaktives Reisetagebuch
- Das Travelogue¹ hat mich als interaktives Reisetagebuch besonders aufgrund der beiliegenden Rubbelseiten überzeugt. Jeder Kontinent ist als einzelne beiliegende Seite aufgeführt, was dieses Geschenk auch als Hingucker aufgehangen an der Wand macht. Auch eine größere Weltkarte oder eine Rubbelkarte¹ sind tolle Geschenkideen.
Reisetagebuch
- Auch wenn ich persönlich die Orte und Erlebnisse während meiner Reisen vorwiegend digital festhalte, ist ein Reisetagebuch dennoch eine tolle Inspiration. Dort sind nicht nur verschiedene Aufgaben und Challenges aufgeführt, sondern auch Vokabellisten, die mit eigenen Ergänzungen erweitert werden können. Outdoorhängematte
- Diese Outdoor-Hängematte¹ ist das perfekte Geschenk für den nächsten Geburtstag. Erhältlich ist sie bereits ab einem kleinen Budget und ist außerdem für Vanreisen und auch Backpacking aufgrund des leichten Gewichts und der kleinen Größen geeignet. Ich habe sie sowohl im Wald, als auch am Strand nutzen können. Und: auch Festivals sind eine gute Einsatzmöglichkeit.
Wäschebeutel
- Ein Top-Tipp, da ich den Wäschebeutel täglich während unserer Vanreisen verwendet habe. Er ist groß genug und kann mithilfe der Bänder an jedem Haken angebracht werden. Außerdem kann er mitgewaschen werden, sollte er mal dreckig werden.
Flip Flops, Tasse und Notizbuch
- Die drei Geschenke – Volkswagen Bulli Flip Flops, Tasse und Notizbuch – sind alle selbsterklärend und definitiv brauchbar auf Reisen. Die Flips Flops habe ich hier¹, das Notizbuch hier und die Tasse hier¹ gefunden.
Polaroidkamera
- Für langfristige Erinnerungen und tolle Momentaufnahmen ist eine Polaroidkamera¹ unabdingbar. Die Fotos kann man entweder in einer Box oder einem kleinen Fotobuch aufbewahren oder aufhängen. Außerdem ist eine dazugehörige Handyhülle mit Polaroidlasche¹ ein Hingucker an jedem Smartphone. Denke daran, eine Packung Ersatzbilder mitzuschenken.

- Diese Box ist definitiv ein Geschenk für diejenigen, die sich nicht auf ein einzelnes Objekt festlegen wollen. Sie ist 3 Jahre lang gültig und beinhaltet viele verschiedene Aktivitäten in Deutschland, Italien, Österreich und der Schweiz.
Kameraobjektiv-Becher
- Dieser Kameraobjektiv-Becher¹ ist ein echter Hingucker für jeden Fotografie-Fan und hält das Getränk auf Reisen warm.
Buchtipp II
- Drive your adventure – Ein Roadtrip quer durch Europa: Dieses Buch beschreibt einen Roadtrip quer durch Europa und ist damit das perfekte Geschenk für einen Freund oder eine Freundin, die demnächst einen Roadtrip plant.
Ukulele & Airpods
- Ein Instrument zu spielen ist eines der Dinge, das meist im Alltag viel zu kurz kommt. Daher ist eine Ukulele aufgrund der kleinen Größe ein Muss für die nächste Auszeit. Auch elektronische Musik darf in vielen Situation beim Reisen nicht fehlen. Ich kann kabellose Kopfhörer wie die Airpods¹ sehr empfehlen und nutze sie – seitdem ich sie geschenkt bekommen habe – fast täglich. Ein cooles Geschenk ist außerdem das iMusic Pillow¹, mit dem ihr über integrierte Lautsprecher in einem Kopfkissen Musik hören könnt.
2. WEITERE GESCHENKE, DIE ICH EMPFEHLEN KANN
Minibeamer
- Seitdem ich selbst einen Minibeamer besitze, bin ich total begeistert. Er kann in jeglicher Situation, vor allem im Sommer, eingesetzt werden. Dieser hier¹ ist meiner, ich würde jedoch diesen¹ empfehlen. Schaut auch mal bei eBay, gebraucht könnt ihr ihn günstiger erwerben. Eine Standleinwand¹ ist ein hilfreiches Add-On für den nächsten Filmeabend im Haus, Garten oder in der Natur. Zusatz-Tipp: Willst du deinen Beamer mit auf Reisen nehmen, pack dir einfach ein weißes Laken ein oder suche dir einen ebenmäßigen Hintergrund wie eine Hauswand, um deine Filme bestmöglich über den Beamer projizieren zu können.
Drohne
- Ich denke, die Drohnenaufnahmen sprechen bereits für sich, denn aus der Vogelperspektive hat man jedes Mal einen Wow-Effekt. Ich habe die ältere DJI Spark & würde Euch als Anfängerdrohne aktuell die DJI Mavic Mini¹ oder die DJI Mavic empfehlen. Es lohnt sich meiner Meinung nach auf jeden Fall, sich eine Drohne anzuschaffen, wenn man bereits darüber nachgedacht hat. Diese kann man inzwischen vergleichsweise günstig erwerben.
Solar-Powerbank
- Ist bei unseren normalen Powerbanken mal wieder der Akku leer, ist diese Solar-Powerbank¹ ein Lebensretter in sonnigen Situationen. Vor allem dann, wenn der nächste Spot gegoogelt oder die Route in der Navigation gestartet werden muss.

On this page I would like to tell you about farewell gifts I received from numerous friends over the years. I was very happy about every single one of them, because behind every present there are ideas that make traveling easier for me, that help me to keep memories and that remind me of home and my friends. Think of it as an overview list of „Gifts for globetrotters“.

Book tip I
- 1000 Places to see before you die¹ – This book is a must-have for all travelers and describes the most beautiful destinations and vacation ideas in the world. The book is also available as an illustrated book.
Interactive travel diary
- The Travelogue¹ convinced me as an interactive travel diary especially because of the included scratch pages. Each continent is listed as a single enclosed page, which makes this gift an eye-catcher when hung on the wall. Also a larger world map or a scratch card¹ are great gift ideas.
Travel diary
- Even though I personally record the places and experiences during my travels mainly digitally, a travel diary is still a great inspiration. It not only lists various tasks and challenges, but also vocabulary lists that can be expanded with your own additions. Additional tip: The Langenscheidt OhneWörterBuch¹, which can be used in any country and facilitates communication across languages by means of the illustration.
Outdoor Hammock
- This outdoor hammock¹ is the perfect gift for the next birthday. It is available from a small budget and is also suitable for van travel and backpacking due to its light weight and small size. I have been able to use it both in the forest and on the beach. And: also festivals are a good use.
Laundry Bag
- A top tip, since I used the laundry bag daily during our van trips. It is big enough and can be attached to any hook with the help of the straps. You can also wash it if it gets dirty.
Flip Flops, cup and notebook

Polaroid Camera
- A Polaroid camera¹ is indispensable for long-term memories and great snapshots. The photos can be stored in a box or hung up or a small photo book. In addition, a matching cell phone case with a Polaroid flap¹ is an eye-catcher on any smartphone. Remember to give a pack of spare pictures as a gift.

Ukulele & Airpods
- Playing an instrument is one of those things that is usually neglected in everyday life. Therefore a ukulele is a must for the next time-out because of its small size. Also electronic music should not be missing in many situations when travelling. I can highly recommend wireless headphones like the Airpods¹ and use them – since I got them as a gift – almost every day. Another cool gift is the iMusic Pillow¹, which allows you to listen to music through built-in speakers in a pillow.
2. OTHER GIFTS I CAN RECOMMEND
Minibeamer
- Since I own a mini beamer myself, I am totally enthusiastic. It can be used in any situation, especially in summer. This one¹ is mine, but I would recommend this one¹. Check eBay, you can get it cheaper if you buy it used. A stand screen¹ is not suitable for traveling, but it is a helpful add-on for the next movie night in the house, garden or in nature, so you don’t have to rely on a white sheet or a smooth background like a house wall.
Drone
- I think the drone shots already speak for themselves, because from a bird’s eye view you get a wow effect every time. I have the older DJI Spark & as a beginner drone I would currently recommend the DJI Mavic Mini¹ or the DJI Mavic. In my opinion it is definitely worth buying a drone if you have already thought about it. These can be purchased comparatively cheaply in the meantime.
Solar Power Bank
- If the battery of our normal power banks is empty again, this solar power bank¹ is a lifesaver in sunny situations. Especially when the next spot has to be googled or the route has to be started in the navigation.
